As Criminal Investigation Draws to a Close, What Charges Might Noam Bramson Face?
DUBLIN, IRELAND (June 15, 2025) — It has been more than 14 months since I first expressed my outrage with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office (and Mimi Rocah, in particular) over the failure to prosecute Noam Bramson in 2022 for illegally attempting to fire Kathleen Gill and get himself appointed Development Commissioner. I handed them Noam on a silver platter but instead they cut a deal (which they predictably but implausibly denied); they would not prosecute him and he would not run again for Mayor.
As a result of this deal, Noam was still Mayor in the summer of 2023, working with Yadira Ramos to fire Kathleen Gill (again), this time over a supposedly “anonymous” letter which I have since reported was almost certainly written by Robert Yamuder (which he predictably but implausibly denied), almost certainly acting as a Noam Bramson sock-puppet.
I am not a lawyer so I asked my favorite AI program, Grok AI, what laws Noam may have broken. Turns out, there are quite a few. He could face up to 7 years in prison, the maximum sentence for a D Felony. As I do not imagine Noam would do well in prison, I expect he will push hard to avoid jail time but I suspect that ship sailed long ago.
