Campaign Cash Clash: New Rochelle School Board Election Finances Revealed

NEW ROCHELLE, NY (July 6, 2025) — Four candidates in the May 20, 2025, New Rochelle Board of Education election ran active campaigns, raising and spending thousands of dollars to secure voter support, while a fifth candidate, Myriam Decime, did not run an active campaign and reported no financial activity.

Elana Jacob, Jessica Klein, Keith Singletary, and Dr. Rosa Rivera-McCutchen collectively certified raising $16,760.82 and spending $18,800.24. The collective balance for the four campaigns is a deficit of $2,039.42. This according to required financial disclosure documents obtained under a Freedom of Information request made to the New Rochelle Board of Education.
