NEW ROCHELLE, NY (September 10, 2025) — For more than an hour last night, the New Rochelle City Council was misled, obstructed, deceived, and otherwise frustrated in their attempt to get answers as to the current state of the city’s finances.

Finance Commissioner Ed Ritter repeatedly lied — through omission and commission.

Last night’s disgraceful performance by Lying Ed appeared to be a pathetic attempt to save his job before he retires later this year and secures his full pension. He needs to be fired immediately before things get worse. Here is why.
