DUBLIN, IRELAND (June 11, 2025) — As we approach the end of the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office investigation into corruption in New Rochelle City Hall, Sustainable Westchester, and points beyond, I wanted to revisit an email exchange I had with one of the targets of the criminal investigation, Stanley Bernstein. At the time, in April 2024, I did not know as much as I do now, and the quid pro quo for his bailing out Yadira Ramos in March 2024 in exchange for her appointing his daughter to a seat on the New Rochelle City Court was only a gleam in his eye.
