PARIS, FRANCE (November 16, 2025) — It has been quite a hot streak for me: Westchester Power… Dead. Flowers Park RFP… Dead. Flavio La Rocca Land Grab… Dead. Phil Colasuonno $2.7 mm Tax Scam… Dead.

Other shoes to drop: Sustainable Westchester fires Noam Bramson? Westchester County District Attorney drops indictments on New Rochelle City Hall? New Rochelle releases Bob Young bid proposal for Flowers Park RFP?

Meanwhile, the New Rochelle Thanksgiving Parade will have its second female Grand Marshall after six decades.

I am going to celebrate with a few well-deserved days off. I have owed my better half a trip to Paris since 2023 when I diverted our planned Paris visit to Bordeaux for the Rugby World Cup. Plans for this trip include the rebuilt Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, Hôtel des Invalides (Napoleon’s Tomb), Musée D'Orsay and Palais Garnier to see the Opéra National de Paris production of Le Noces de Figaro. Also known as Opéra Garnier, it is most famous opera house in the world, the setting for Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel The Phantom of the Opera.
