DUBLIN, IRELAND (May 21, 2025) — Earlier this month I reported on RFP #5790 under which the City of New Rochelle is accepting bids for the Quaker Ridge Road Concrete Pavement Rehabilitation Project to repair deteriorating concrete pavement between Van Meter Fens and Weaver Street, under DPW Project #25-037. This came after I raised questions in February (based on reader inquiries) about a $3,518,638 grant from New York State for Quaker Ridge Road “Complete Streets” improvements awarded by Governor Cuomo in 2017. Things just got wierd.
