DUBLIN, IRELAND (January 4, 2026) — Vacation is over. Time to get back at it.

Not that I was not busy over the past two weeks. I did a lot of organizing, research and prep work for stories that will roll out in the coming months. I did a good deal of work on Rob Rubicco material, laying the foundation for the next 10 parts in my current series. I worked on the Garris case; safe to say I am the last reporter standing on that story. There are a number of legal matters going including my Article 78 lawsuit against New Rochelle which forced me to learn how to do that. You can rest assured there will be more applications of my new capability starting later this month. Of course, there is the taxpayer-funded “defamation” lawsuit against me brought by Dawn Warren and Adam Salgado which will see some new reporting in about 3 weeks. There is my copyright infringement lawsuit again their former lawyers. And, of course, the ongoing criminal investigation which originated in New Rochelle but now appears to have expanded and spiraled outside the New Rochelle orbit. All in all, a busy 2026 ahead.

I updated the BWC videos by creating a triple-box version which gives a better perspective on the sequence before and after the officer-involved shooting in 2023.

Blast from the Past

In 2008, I launched Talk of the Sound using a different content management system (Drupal) and a different domain address (newrochelletalk.com). In 2018, I migrated to a different content management system (Wordpress) and a different domain address (talkofthesound.com). I did this despite knowing the switch would create coding and formatting issues for all the articles that came before the switch in 2018. My thought was that most stories from the olden days were not getting much traffic so the formatting issues would not be noticeable to humans and recede in importance over time. That was correct but there are older stories I think are important so I took a lot of time to fix up three series: New Rochelle Board of Education: Criminal Enterprise Masquerading as an Educational Institution, Nightmare on Stephenson Boulevard and the NRPD PACT Unit PFFL Porn & Gambling Website. It is a pain in the neck to do but I may fix a few others.

It got me thinking that with so many new readers since 2018 — especially over then it might be a good idea to bring them to the attention of new readers with occasional “Blast from the Past” articles so they are aware of the history of me and my reporting — and why certain people and organizations did not, and in some cases, still do not like me 🤓
