Loli & Bob at British & Irish Lions v Argentina

DUBLIN, IRELAND (June 29, 2025) — I spent a fair amount of time this week reporting out straight news stories for Talk of the Sound as opposed to analysis and opinion for Words in Edgewise.

I reported exclusively on an ICE Raid at Heritage Homes in New Rochelle where agents took 5 people into custody. 4 other people were taken into custody at Home Depot in New Rochelle earlier this month. 1 person was taken into custody in Mamaroneck. There are concerns at City Hall about turnout for the Taste of Union Avenue event on September 27 in light of these ongoing enforcement and removal actions.

I reported exclusively the New York side of a terrible situation involving a Virginia woman who is facing numerous charges over three separate cases involving child abuse, child endangerment, assault, strangulation, and drowning a 5-month old. It got a fair amount of coverage in the Virginia Beach media market but zero in the New York media market. I expect that will change as local media outlets follow along in the wake of my research and reporting.

This weekend represents the changing of the guard at NRPD with Rob Gazzola out on Friday and Neil Reynolds in on Monday, and in a parallel development New Rochelle established a Civilian Complaint Review Board. I found it odd that New Rochelle is advertising for non-Vets to serve on the New Rochelle Veterans Advisory Committee.

Lalit Loomba and the Quinn Law Firm have retained counsel to defend them in my Federal copyright infringement lawsuit against them related to their work on the bogus defamation claims against me by Dawn Warren and Adam Salgado.
