NRPD Sgt. Tim Adrian discusses Mytari Dixon manhunt with Callahan Walsh.

DUBLIN, IRELAND (May 18, 2025) — Last week, I posted a picture of myself in my driving instructor’s car after finishing my six required driving lessons. This allowed me to log into Ireland’s National Driver Licence Service (NDLS) and book a driving test at the testing center closest to my home. The NDLS aims to schedule tests within 10 weeks, but a shortage of testers, combined with high demand—partly due to an influx of about 125,000 Ukrainians since the war started—has stretched wait times. I paid €85 up front to secure a test slot on January 5, 2026, meaning a 34-week wait. Ack!

I want to highlight something I thought might have caught readers attention by now but maybe this needs a nudge. I recently wrote about a church with deep ties to the Nazi regime in Germany from 1932 to 1945, described by some as cult-like due to its leadership’s control over members’ decisions. I don’t know if it’s a cult as some say but it’s certainly unusual.

SEE: Concerning Cults: New Apostolic Church

A passive, unquestioning submission to all that is taught or commanded by leaders exposes members to the dangers of mind-control, exploitation and the loss of personal freedom.

Given its unaddressed Nazi history, I was surprised to learn that William V. Slade, a preacher or “lay minister” in this church since the 1980s, was appointed to the New Rochelle Board of Ethics. I’m just laying out the facts—you decide what to make of them. For more context, check out my two articles and a screenshot of Slade’s cover letter for the board position. What do you think?

How I Prepared to Drop the Sex, Drugs, and Lies Story on Dawn Warren and Adam Salgado

Simplified Summary: I have faced legal threats from New Rochelle officials Dawn Warren and Adam Salgado for months now after reporting on corruption at City Hall. A December 2024 cease-and-desist letter from attorney Lalit Loomba, backed by city-funded litigation, aimed to silence Me. I updated his websites’ terms of service, addressed Loomba’s copyright infringement, and stood by my reporting. On May 10, 2025, I published “Sex, Drugs, and Lies,” challenging the city’s actions and demanding an apology from City Manager Will Melendez, who ignored a deadline. No word on this (Copyright Infringement by New Rochelle Outside Counsel Lalit Loomba Prompts Demand Letter by Robert Cox) or this (New Rochelle Officials: Sex, Drugs and Lies).

As Final Appeals Brief Filed, GrokAI Predicts Most Likely Outcome in Vaccaro NRPD Lawsuit

Simplified Summary: Michael Vaccaro, a former New Rochelle Police Department detective, was fired in September 2023 after an off-duty incident on February 15, 2021, where he punched and kicked Malik Fogg, a Black man, during an arrest. Vaccaro was acquitted of criminal assault charges in July 2022, but a disciplinary hearing found him guilty of misconduct, leading to his termination and decertification as a police officer. He filed an Article 78 lawsuit in December 2023 to challenge his termination, seeking reinstatement. The case was transferred to the Appellate Division, Second Department, in July 2024, and the final appeal brief was filed on May 8, 2025.

GREEN SCAM: New Rochelle Celebrates Air Quality Initiatives While Building a Toxic Playground

Simplified Summary: As New Rochelle pushes air quality initiatives they are building a new playground at New Roc City, with a multilevel parking garage housing over 2,000 cars looming over it. The garage’s exhaust fumes, containing pollutants like fine particulate matter and nitrogen dioxide, pose respiratory and cardiovascular risks, especially for children playing nearby.

Simplified Summary: Pedro Marte’s federal charges for running a cocaine-to-crack operation that sparked a fire, damaging 27 hotel rooms, and the 2022 murder of rapper James “Boogie Nation” Caldwell, featured on America’s Most Wanted with a $10,000 FBI reward, made national news. Closer to home, Sloppy Louis Apicella’s guilty plea for targeting me got a belated write up. As I explained, that article is one of several delayed by my 2023 relocation to Ireland. I am clearing my archives by publishing older pieces to catch up on work set aside during that transition. The City shines too—New Rochelle High School teens Cory Seelenfreund and Scarlett Ava Hartzman earned $16,000 and a $32,000 scholarship at the 2025 Regeneron Science Fair, and the police honored Officer Kathleen O’Connor-Funigiello, who died from a 9/11-related illness was honored. Dive into these tales of crime, courage, and triumph below.
