Nollaig Shona Daoibh (“Happy Christmas to you all”)

DUBLIN, IRELAND (December 21, 2025) — Happy Christmas from Grafton Street in the heart of the city centre. Pretty well mobbed today on the last big shopping day.

I had hoped to have two important stories up in time for the newsletter but they are not quite ready so I may run them tomorrow or perhaps wait until after the New Year.

The biggest story of the week has been a situation in Pelham which beggars belief. I have not traditionally done much investigative reporting on Pelham (none?) but that may need to change. Leadership over there is certainly getting my attention.

I served the City of New Rochelle and City Manager Will Melendez with my Article 78 lawsuit. With the filing fees, printing costs and service costs, the total amount I paid was about $700. I asked the judge for the City to pay that back to me if I prevail. Let’s hope I do so I can re-invest that money into more Article 78s (I have more than two dozen queued up).

Enjoy the holidays!
