Sunday Briefing: One Ethics Complaint, One Promotion, One Unanswered Question
This briefing draws from reporting at Talk of the Sound, analysis and commentary published in Words in Edgewise, and selected regional coverage for the week ending June 7, 2026
A Note from the Publisher
“Mayor Yadira” as she styles herself has an oddly ambivalent attitude about delivering a State of the City address. I asked her last month about whether she planned to give a SOTC address. She ignored me. I wrote about it. She did nothing. As this a Charter violation I went ahead and filed an Ethics Complaint. She can make it go away by delivering (not announcing) a SOTC.
Noam got a new job.
Below is this week’s structured briefing.
